The bone marrow biopsy and aspiration process is something that I don't want to ever see again. While the doctor was awesome and faster than all get-out. My only thought throughout was "hurry hurry hurry" as I didn't want Rudy to hurt...I stayed in the room and watched the whole procedure. I wont go into details here because I don't want Rudy to read what I saw as I don't think he needs to know the actual mechanics of the procedure.
The needle biopsy was a breeze compared to the bone marrow and the doctor was able to get 7-8 nice large samples to use. Dr Kahn was awesome and I told Rudy he totally reminded me of the bad guy on Flash Gordon.
All we had left to do was wait.....
