Preface: I was put on bed rest last week by my doctor due to a mild case of preeclampsia.
Well I went to the doctor today and he was very pleased! My edema has reduced drastically and my blood pressure has dropped by 4 points. So it looks like the bed rest and working only from home has definitely helped. After all the ultrasounds today they think the baby is around 5 pounds 14 ounces and is progressing wonderfully. So, for now, the doctor is ok with me working from home as long as the baby and I continue to look good.
The baby is moving like a champ. I'm thinking we are going to have a world class soccer player on our hands with the amount of kicking that is being done. He/she latest moves are (1) to push its little tooshie out as far as it can next to my ribs and (2) using my bladder as a punching bag.
