Howdy! Well 3 exciting things have happened already this month!
First, Diego went on his first plane ride and did great! He won over all the flight attendants - on the way back the flight attendants took him and played with him for about 20 minutes! All you could hear was him giggling and then the flight attendants giggling. He's definitely turning into quite a charmer.
Second, Diego got baptised while we were down in San Antonio. As usual there was a hiccup or two but ultimately we were able to get things ironed out and he was baptised on Sunday the 8th. After the baptism we had a nice late lunch at my parents house in the hill country.
Before I get to the third thing I wanted to say we had a blast in Texas. It was definitely good company and good food. As my parent's neighbors would say we had a lot of "milkin' and grazin'". Diego got to meet almost all of his aunts and cousins and I'm not sure how often his feet actually touched the ground he was passed around so much. Unfortunately my grandparents were not able to be there due to my grandfather not feeling well; however, we are going to make a special trip down to see them at Christmas.
And finally the third piece of news....I tendered my resignation to Stanton Group today. While I have enjoyed my time there I feel that it is time for me to move on. I have accepted a position as a Compensation Consultant for UnitedHealth Group in Minnetonka (suburb of Minneapolis) and will be starting there on August 6th. I guess you could say they "made me an offer I couldn't refuse." My last day with Stanton will be on the 31st of this month. Rudy and I are very excited to see what this new job will hold for me.
Rudy has updated the pics so don't forget to check them out before you leave :)
